Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) **Warning, there may be spoilers in this discussion.**

I have been reading reviews about how people are upset with the way Allegiant turned out. My question is, have you guys read Allegiant yet? If so what are your thoughts on the book?

Cinthia (cinthiah) | 31 comments I thought it was really good. I understand why some people were upset, and I even cried at the end, but I was impressed at Veronica for making the decisions she did. Sure, I had hoped for a different outcome. But this ended up being more realistic in a way. I'm sure going to miss Tris and Four.

Samantha Arnold (nahteeraisamanthaarnold) I bought the book a bit ago, but still haven't read it! I'm gonna read as soon as possible. The school has kept me so busy and now I'm sick!

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I have never cried in a dystopian novel before. This is actually the first one.

Oh dear. Now I'm worried. :P

Casey Anderson | 66 comments I was upset and disappointed. Not just with the tragic tear jerker ending...but the general pace of the book. The first 2 books were so fast paced and action packed. And this one was just so much self reflection. I mean, I like that sure...but...it was like all this internal stuff, very little action, ok we have it all figured out, and then BOOM that ending...

Kerr (paein) It was a good book but I didn't like it. I felt most of the way through the series people were killed off to make it all more 'desperate' feeling but weren't written in well and didnt add too much to the story. When it finally got to the ending, I cried like crazy but really felt again that it didn't quite go. I can see why it was done, but I think it was done for the wrong reasons. The same effect could have been achieved with a very close call.
