I'll play! I'm doing the SSS(Super,Speedy,Series) challenge in another group that requires 2 books a week and I'm keeping up there so this should be no problem :)
Didn't realize someone else was doing the same. But, good know it's doable. :D I'm hoping it'll give me the book boost I need. Been slaggin' here lately. I've added ya to the list. Thanks for your RSVP as well. :D

Dawn, I know what you mean! Typically, two books a week is a given ... these days, not so much. Seems the days are getting shorter or going by quicker. Or, maybe I'm just gettin' older and slower. LOL!

LOL! Gotcha, Dawn. Just let your teammies know you cannot don the captain cap and someone else will step up.

But, I'm going on a much needed vacation from Nov 10-22. I'll not have my laptop with me. I'm hoping I can access GR through my mobile, though. Anyway, I'm sure I can read 2 books in a week.

I'm soo tempted to join! I can definitely read two books a week but with my job situation plus a wedding I have to attempt out of the country in December, I'm reluctant.
I need a push to finish my reading challenge for the year so this is perfect. Sign me up please! :)

New and returning players welcome! We hope you will join us for R8 ~ Speed Bingo!
✫ ✬ This is a round of SPEED Bingo, so please make sure you're aware of the following before signing up! ✬ ✬ Things will run differently than any previous round. ✬ ✫
SPECIAL RULES FOR SPEED ROUND:
➸ TWO SHELVES A WEEK! It'll be a cut-throat round and the pace will require players to read, rate & review TWO BOOKS a week. Two shelves, instead of one, will be announced each Sunday. Not your cuppa? Don't worry, there will be 1-book-a-week rounds in 2014. :)
➸ THREE STRIKES, YOU'RE OUT! Keeping pace is essential in this round of BSB! Individual team members who fall 3 books behind will be removed from the challenge. If your team loses a player because of this, a new player will not be added to fill their place. Your team will continue rockin' and readin' on as is minus one player. This is a team challenge, your teammates depend on you to participate and communicate with them. So, please, keep this in mind when deciding to play.
➸ FIVE-IN-A-ROW WINS! Same with other rounds - in order to win, your team must get five stamps in a row, either diagonally, vertically or horizontally. Acquire your stamps when all members have read, rated and reviewed their books for each shelf.
➸ If you wish to play, please follow these steps:
(1) Sign up below
(2) Go to the BSB R8 Event page and RSVP ‘yes’, if you wish to play. NO PM will be sent out, the Event RSVP is your confirmation. An event reminder email will be sent to you one-day before the game begins.
Once all players have RSVP'd, I will randomize everyone and create teams. Please RSVP no later than Thursday, 31 October.
Sandra, Judithe, and I are looking forward to joining everyone for a speedy round of BSB! Thank you to all the members who participated in the previous rounds!! And, thanks to Christina for suggesting BSB might be the pick-me-up everyone needs right now.
