The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion

This book is so funny and awkward and familiar and sweet that I'm suggesting it to everyone I know even though I haven't even finished it yet.

"Don Tillman, professor of genetics, has never been on a second date. Then a chance encounter gives him an idea. He will design a questionnaire-a sixteen-page, scientifically researched document-to find the perfect partner...."

^^ It is a great book :) I loved it, and frequently recommend it to customers.
As long as you allow the author to take some artistic license with stuff (that I won't spoil by mentioning). To fully enjoy the book, you have to be happy to be taken on a journey :)

I rather liked it myself. I found it cute and charming. Though I've come across reviews stating a belief that it was little more than Big Bang slash with the names changed.
