I was excited to see this on the comixology store today, as I'm a huge Sandman fan.

But I'll wait until it's all in one volume. I like to read series without having to wait for the next issue.

Plus $5.49 per digital issue seems a bit pricey.

Jason Bergman (loonyboi) I'm trying so hard not to buy this. It's crazy expensive ($4.99 an issue) and I just want to wait for when I can get a nice hardcover version.

In the meantime, for more amazing JH Williams III art, I highly recommend Promethea, Vol. 1, his series with Alan Moore. It starts off relatively normal, but by the last volume it's absolutely mind blowing.

Kdawg91 | 377 comments yeah, I have been reading Batwoman, and I have Promethea somewhere, but there is a two page spread in that Sandman that made my jaw drop.

ScottIsANerd (GrilledCheeseSamurai) (grilledcheesesamurai) The 5 bucks spent to buy this is easily forgotten after your eyes feast on that 4 page pull out spread!! FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!

terpkristin | 4407 comments Stupid question, can I pre-order the entire series and have then shipped as they come out to my brother? I'm not into comics/graphic novels, but my brother is and his birthday is coming...

John (Nevets) Nevets (nevets) | 1903 comments Kristin,

I was thinking there was, but now I'm not sure. I looked at Midtown Comics site, and although they do due shipped pull lists, they require 10 comics a month. DCB (discount comic books) will let you preorder, but it looks like it is just what is been solicited, and all of Sandman has not been solicited yet.

I also checked Comixology for a digital solution, but I don't think you can gift an ongoing subscription, just sign up for one with your account.

If he has a local comic book store that he usually uses, maybe you can talk to them, and see if you could buy it, put just add it too his normal pull list. I'm pretty sure they've said the series is going to be limited, so they should be able to give you a price for the whole thing.

Anybody else got any ideas ?
