If I Lie discussion

I read the book If I Lie by Corrine Jackson. I rated this book an 8 out of 10. Quinn is the main girl in the story. She was dating Carey who is a member of the Marines. While they were dating, someone captured a picture of Quinn kissing her boyfriend's best friend at a football game. When everyone at her school found out, all of her friends began to hate her. The only friend she still had was George who she volunteered with at the hospital. She had also figured out that Carey went missing in Afghanistan and no one could find him. He wasn't writing back to Quinn and she felt as though it was all her fault. Kids at school were writing 'cheater, traitor, slut' all over her locker. Blake and George were the only people Quinn could rely on and trust during these rough times. When the truth started coming out her friends started to believe her, but there was still no word from Carey. She had not cheated on Carey since they were not dating at the time the photo was taken. She and Carey shared many secrets that were not supposed to be shared with others. She could either share the secrets and lose Carey's trust, or keep them to herself and keep their treasured relationship. One day on the news they say saw that Carey had been found and would be coming back to the United States; this meant everything to Quinn. When he had arrived in the hospital Quinn was right by his side. Carey's parents didn't trust Quinn. But in the end they were happy and back to being second parents for Quinn.----- I noticed Man vs. Man since everyone was against Quinn because she had supposedly cheated on her boyfriend and everyone was calling here mean names. I would suggest this to someone who likes mysteries, on the edge, or relationship books.
