Thanks for the good luck! I'm starting to panic about them, which I know is stupid, seeing as they don't start til May 22nd...
My firm choice is Loughborough University..."
I did do a degree! I graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in Art History in 2011 :)
And my best friend went to Loughborough and LOVED it. It is definitely very sporty, and the party scene is absolutely insane! I did not have the stamina to keep up! It seemed like a great uni though from what I saw, great facilities and I even had a peek in the library ;)
Just so I'm announcing this on a thread that gets some traffic - our Group Read polls resulted in three 2-way ties this month! I've opened 3 tie breaker polls for today only, so get your votes in quickly!

Louise, I feel the exact same way! My reading has picked up again over Easter, but I'm expecting it to plummet over late May/June!

Me! I just can't seem to get into it right now.

My mum just randomly brought me peanut butter and jam on toast. I've already had breakfast...
Maybe I'm turning into a Hobbit?

Could be! I'm sure you'll always be her little girl. :)

Most likely, she just wants you to remember how cozy it is at home so you still visit... And she's enjoying having you "to herself" for now. It's a very sweet gesture. Go to university...but remember to call your mom. Moms invest so much in us.
Amber, you look great! That sounds like such a fun night!
Renee, I doubt she'd let me lose contact for more than a day or two! I'm hopefully going travelling with my friend to Australia next summer, and I'm then hoping to do a year exchange to Canada. So it's likely, I won't actually be home for like a year and a half! So she's trying to get the most of me that she can now!

It's basically a spreadable chocolate bar. What's not appealing? :P

Seeing as I'm attempting to procrastinate for as long as possible, I've just re-organised my shelves on Goodreads. I now have categories for genre, when written and type...
I really should do some work...

Holly-
Awesome travel plans!
And, yeah, she's undoubtedly anticipating the empty nest. Teach her to us the internet before you go and get her a GR account! :D

I am actually encouraging her to get one. She's been meaning to track her books forever, and hasn't gotten round to doing it.
I somehow doubt the travel plans will come to fruition. I don't think I have the confidence just to go off travelling randomly, even though I'd love to

And to join in the Great Nutella Debate - I'm definitely in the dislike camp!

I've just renewed my library card after about 5 years, which should save me a fortune! I'm also going to see The Tempest on Thursday which I'm quite excited for.
I should probably make a new banner for the group!
Anyone in particular have a love for a certain colour? Or perhaps they have some specific words they'd like on it?

I'll fix the statement above, because I can see where the misunderstanding is coming from. :)

I would say yellow. There are lots of daffodils around just now. :)
For the text... something along the lines of "May you fall in love with reading all over again"? Spring is for lovers, after all... including book lovers. ;)
