John, the main character is thankfully still alive and home with the rest of the guard, some of the guard. He has been training and working out for a while and is still getting stronger, mentally and physically. On the other hand Sam is still captured by the mogadorians. Setrákus Ra, the leader, has a very evil mind is using it on Sam to get answers where everyone else is. Something happens and Sam finds someone that he has been looking for, for his whole life. He meets someone else on his way home and is thrilled! Back at the house where the rest if the guard is staying, number 9 is having nightmares and she decides to do something that can change the rest of her life and the rest of everyone elses. John, Sarah, and number 6 are headed towards the middle of nowhere trying to find number 5. They soon catch him and are headed back home when something terrible happens. Read the rest if this book and find out what happens next. I think that this book was amazing and very thrilling because it was the last book and I was very excited about it, it gave great details, for example when they are in fights and they are being hurt it explains the pain that they feel and what everything was like. It felt like I was actually in the book feeling everyone’s pain and emotions. It was very hard to put the book down. I recommend this book to people whom like fiction, scary, superstitious, suspenseful and unpredictable books. If you like the hunger games, Enders game, and/or The Percy Jackson books, would also be a good fit for you.
