Apparently it is now free for Expanded Distribution on Createspace.

Pah, could've saved myself a whopping £30 or so if I'd waited six more months!Ah, well.
It was on facebook so I went and checked, there is now a banner on your dashboard which says FREE for the Expanded Dist and when you go to the pricing area it comes up as free:)
Hmm..I think I just found something to look into tonight!
I confirm. I have just recently set up my new book at CreateSpace and was happily shocked that I wasn't being charged for the expanded distribution.
I got an email announcing this and telling me that they were going to credit my credit card for the amount I paid. Pretty awesome!

I see going into Expanded Distribution still raises the minimum price you can have though.
@Andrea I doubt they will. I've never seen any company refund anyone after reducing their price.

I publish my books under my own ISBN#. The only problem with the new CreateSpace distribution is that, if you only use them to print your books like I do, they still won't put them out for library distribution.
Okay so I looked into this and went ahead with the expand distribution, I chose options 1&3. I know what it says they do but how exactly do they work? This means my book will go into book stores or only if I can convince bookstores to carry the book?
