But when Jeth finds himself in possession of information that both the crime bosses and the government are willing to kill for, he is going to have to ask himself how far he'll go to get the freedom he's wanted for so long.

Avalon is the perfect fit for teens new to sci-fi as well as seasoned sci-fi readers looking for more books in the YA space-and a great match for fans of Joss Whedon's cult hit show Firefly.

It's Friday still. I'm not going to get much read tomorrow as I'm visiting family.

I only got to 34% last night. I'm going to read some more tonight. I might not finish tonight because I want to start Through the Ever Night and read a few chapters of that.

(view spoiler)[This book is kind of scaring me, by the way! It's the mysterious whatever-it-is tearing those holes in the ship. It is so creepy and I'm getting really worried for these characters! I know the group will eventually make it out, but I can't help being worried about what will happen to them next. (hide spoiler)]

This book just keeps on getting better. It has so many twists! They're making the book really exciting right now. (67%)

I thought it was pretty good in the beginning, there are some real doozies thrown in there though!

Around the 70% mark, it was a little dull, but the rest of the book was really exciting for me!

I think the ending was great. It really tied up the book well.

I just lost interest towards the end. I was pretty bored.
