The Enchanted Forest discussion

This is just random woods, not divided into territories or anything.

Rapunzel walks through the woods, stopping at a stream to fill her hands with clean water. She drinks it then splashes hr face with water.

Rose had escaped her family for the day and was wandering the woods to stay away from people.

Rapunzel hears the snapping of a branch. She trills like a bird twice, and a fox comes to her side. She draws a small knife and stands ready, Her dress and the knife contradicting each other.

Rose walks around a corner and sees a girl. She wonders who she is as she has never seen her before.

Rapunzel sees a flash of movement, then a girl steps into her view. "Who are you?" she says with hostility. "Don' try anything!" sh called, with a small accent of fear in her voice.

" My names Rosalinda or Rose for short. And what do you mean try anything? I haven't got any weapons on me," she said.

"Rapunzel Plaukai. Rapunzl Plaukai for short. I'm sorry, I'm on dge." sh said

"It's okay. Nice to meet you." she replied deciding to be friendly.

Rapunzel takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly. With the ease of someone who has practiced, she slides the knife into a fold of her dress. "You too." she says. She trills once more and the fox leaves her. She whistles and a rabbit hops up to her ankle. "Where do you come from?" she asks, hoping this girl isn't from the castle.

" The rich part of town. I live in a mansion. I never used to but we came into some money," she said. It was part of the truth. She didn't mention how her sister Snow had married one of the princes.

Rapunzel's face was still cautious. "No one is...do you very look at the wanted signs?" sh asked, timidly. She picked up the brown rabbit and stroked it's silky fur.

" Sure. Why not?" She said.

Rapunzel let out a deep breath. "Just...nothing. Oh! My manners." she says with a relieved smile and sticks out her hand.

Rose takes it and shakes it.

Rapunzel draws back her hand and gathers her hair in her hands. She pulls it all over her left shoulder and it shines in the sun.

Rose pulls her cloak closer to her figure as it was getting colder. She should be getting back soon but she didn't want to go home as she would have to see her parents disapproving expressions.

Rapunzel frowns. This rose girl looked rich...rich enough to be royalty. She pursed her lips in contemplation and turned her head to the side. "Rose...royalty...Snow...you don't happen to be..." she wondered aloud. She had heard rumors from travelers and she seemed to fit the description.

Odette walked through the woods, she sat down on a log and fed some birds. She heard faint voices in the distance. She didn't care at the moment, but she knew she should. She laughs, as a squirrel climbs up to her shoulder.

" I don't happen to be who?" She asked. She wondered if the girl ha figured out she was the beloved Princess Snow's sister. Her sister was famed as the wife of one of the princes.

"Rose Red...Snow White's sister..." Rapunzel said. She was waiting, not even realizing her breath was being held. "Snow White, wife to a prince..."

" Thats me. My full name is Rosalinda Dietrich. I didn't realise I was well known as well as my sister. " she said. Rose sighed she hated her sister now but they had used to be close.

Rapunzel backed up, clutching her ragged dress. She gives a quick curtsy. "I...apologize...I--" she stopped and her eyes glazed. She turned her head. Her eyes cleared. she put her finger to hr lips and whistled like a bird. A few birds trilled back and she nodded to herself. She slipped quickly and quietly towards the birds.

" Its fine. No need to be so nervous," she said watching the her. She hated that people were so nervous around her. She may be the princesses sister but she was not about to go and hurt or kill them for not recognising her.

Eric walked into the woods hand in hand with Ariel.

Odette hears the sound of someone approaching. She doesn't care. Even if it is a bandit, she knows self defense. "Whatever," she mumbles to herself.

Rapunzel hid behind a tree, peering over her own shoulder. She sees a girl sitting on a log and feeding birds. with a flourish, she stepped out from behind the tree, her golden hair floating in the wind. "Hello." she said serenely.

Rose sees another girl and walks over to her regally. " Hello," she said elegantly. It seemed she had picked up a few behaviour habits from the rich and wealthy.

(Oneliners...)

"Hello," Odette says looking up. She stands up, and wipes her hands together. She looks at Rose. "Are you..." her voice trails off.

" Am I who?" She asked. She didn't know who the other girl had connected her with. She knew she looked like one of the rich and privileged and she was now.

"Wonderful.She notices her on sight..." she mutters. She really should go. She doesn't want to go back into town, even though someone could help her.

"Are you Snow Whites' sister? As in Snow White who married one of the princes?" Odette asks curiously.

" Thats me. That is the second time today someone has recognised me. I didn't know people knew who i was," she said.

Rapunzel's mouth falls open. "You're royalty. Everyone knows royalty. They are the...I don't know...important people." she exclaims

Odette shrugs. "My parents, the King and Queen, told me a lot about the other royals and their family. It was part of my daily lessons."

Rose nodded. "What royal family are you part of then?" she asked. She knew the current one was made up of the king and queen and then it was mainly princes.

"The Vontremonts." she answers simply. "What about you? I never heard much about you and your sister."

"I'm not from a royal family. My sister married into the one here. It is made up of around 10 brothers and their parents," she said. She didn't want to go into any further details.

"You are lucky in some ways not to be born into one. You would've missed the galas and balls, and the feasts. But then you wouldn't have to take two hour long lessons," Odette says, braiding her hair.

"I guess so but I don't really do much anyway just attend the balls. It is my sister that is the princess," she replied.

Odette nodded her understanding. She suddenly heard the sounds of hooves and voices in the woods. "Who could that be?" she wonders out loud.

" I have no idea. I suppose it could be Prince Derek, or one of the other brothers, they all seem to like hunting." She said.

"you're probably right. I was betrothed to Prince Derek, I didn't care for him much though, I'm sorry to say." She replies.

" I've only met him once or twice. So i can't really say what I think of him." She said. She had only really spoken to Snow's husband who she used to love and still loves.

"My curiosity has gotten the best of me. I'm going to find out for myself." she states. Odette climbs a tree, and sits down on a branch.

Rose nodded and watched the girl climb the tree. She would never imagine doing that herself. It was too unlady like.

She jumps back down. "It's the hunting party all right. She glances down at her summer dress. "My mom will kill me when she sees this!" she exclaims. "It is unlady like of me to do these things, but my mother and father has gotten used to it by now. They made me my own forest in the palace backyard."

She nodded. "If you want I could take you the tailor shop or something and we could get you a new dress. I'm sure I have some of my dresses around somewhere as well and that way you will not get into trouble," she said.
