In Defiant Hero, Alyssa's states that Wildcard has that Mad Sciene look.

Dave Malkoff - An Ex- CIA agent, who now works for Troubleshooter, Inc.

These two men can be look upon by people as just being nerds, but what they don't know, both have deadly skills. :)

Yeah I devoured the virgin hero and the less than perfect/ beauty is in the eye lists. Heck, pretty much all their lists.

Dave is very yummy to me. He likes to wear jeans and he wears glasses too. Oh, and he has a mimicking talent. He can imitate someone's voice. He doesn't like being a leader. Which, I don't blame him. But, he has always been looked upon as being a leader. He's a teamplayer and if he needs to get in your face, he would.

He falls in love with his best friend. Before they hooked up, he was her protector. He wouldn't let anyone treat her wrong, without telling them something. He would die for her.

A lot of Suzanne fans didn't like Dave, especially, because he winds up with Sophia. He has always caught my attention. He stood out to me. I guess before I love me some sexy nerds.

I just wanted to state that Parris is a nerd.

I haven't written a nerdy hero yet. In one of my stories, the heroine's friend is a computer nerd. I need to, though. Please don't kick me out of the Nerd Appreciation Society (NAS). :)

You will never be kicked out of the NAS.

I don't think that I will get in full depth of Parris being a nerd.

You're welcome, Eugenia. Thanks for letting me retain my membership in the NAS, Arch. That's alright if you don't go into Parris' nerdiness. You have to do what's right for your book. I haven't written a nerdy hero yet because it hasn't felt right. My first manuscript I wrote has a virgin hero. He was African-American, drop, dead gorgeous and an ex-Navy SEAL. I'm still in love with him. It was really cool.

That's the definitely the case with me, Eugenia. I write about heroes who are men that you could fall in love with and be happy for the rest of your life. They might not be perfect, but deep down they are men who are wonderful and will love their heroine with their whole hearts for the rest of their lives. I'm a romantic. Can't help myself.

Love is the best thing in the world to me. Without it, this world would be truly awful.

The songs make it sound cheesy, but it's really true.

Some men just appear to be nerds to me. They might not be nerds or even nerds to other people.

Example:

Speed from CSI Miami. He's a nerd to me.
Connor from Primeval. He's a nerd to me.
Dr. Nick from Primeval. He's a nerd to me.
Birkoff from La Femme Nikita. Yes, he's a nerd.
Jordan from Love or Money. He's a nerd to me.
Shawn from 4400. He's a nerd to me.


The word nerd is suppose to be an insult, but I don't find it to be an insult, when talking about men that has caught my attention.

Most people think of a nerd as being a Steve Urkel type. Not so!

I worked with a girl who loved Ben Harper. She was really music savvy, like you. He's got a very nice voice.

Smart is oh, so sexy to me. Not the "I know everything" kind of smart, but when it's clear the person is really intelligent but he doesn't have to brag. Like McGee. :)
That's why I loved Ben in A Personal Matter. He was nerd (a hot sexy one) in my opinion.
