I'm reading this now, and finding it so refreshing. It was first published in 1952, so everything is wonderfully subtle and understated.

I gave this five stars. Here's my succinct review:

The key aspect of this book for me is that it was first published in 1952. Although I found it hard to get into, once the lesbian attraction started, I was transported. It was the refreshing, understated subtly of it that carried me away. It made me want to fall in love (a state I normally consider to be a hideous affliction).
