For future information the help link at the bottom of the page is the "how to" for the site:
http://www.goodreads.com/help
and
the import/export books info is on this page:
http://www.goodreads.com/review/import
Also, This is definitely a question that should be posted not in this group but in the Goodreads Feedback group:
http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/1...
I'd post it in the bugs folder.
I'm not sure of how to help you with this but I'm sure someone will be able to do so.
When you post in the Feedback group, you might want to mention if all of your books have ISBNs.
Best wishes, and have fun on Goodreads.
Oh, take a look at the descriptions of this group and the Feedback group and hopefully that will make things clear about which group does what. If it's confusing, you can always ask questions in the Feedback group.
Edit: You'll get more help about glitches and problems in the Feedback group, and that's one of the things that group is for. This group is more for members to work on the Goodreads database rather than solve members' problems.
(1) When I uploaded my CSV file (from an Excel spreadsheet), GR accepted half the books and rejected the others, no rhyme or reason (as in, half the books by the same author were okay, the rest not). Why is that?
(2) A number of the uploads were changed into a different edition. For instance, one of the Dick Francis titles showed up as a Readers Digest book. Why is that?
I don't know how to fix the edition on these books to reflect the book I was actually uploading. Is there a "how-to" manual somewhere?
If these questions should be properly asked elsewhere, please let me know.
Thanks.
