Phury's book was my least favorite but if I remember correctly in the first book Wrath said the "red smoke" was a relaxant. I don't think it was really ever discussed much again.

Is red smoke the same thing as "cigarillo" Wrath smoked in his book when he went to Beth's??

And they keep saying Vishous smokes some "turkish tobacco" so I don't think it's the same as "red smoke" although in the beginning of this book, correct me if I am wrong, when Butch and Vishous were at the bar where Z went to meet them, he said something about Phury being in the back "getting red smoke which he and Vishous dabble in".

These dudes smoke a hell of a lot of different things... I thought a cigarillo was like a cigar- but thinner maybe??? But thicker than a cigarette. I'm not sure of what's in a cigarillo though. Can someone please get JR on the line so we can get this all straightened out!!?

Had a crazy busy week but I'm diving in. Only on book 2, but with the holiday break, I should have plenty of time to induce a BDB coma.

Yes. The professor. It's a real fucking dilemma and I don't know how I get in these messes. I'm thinking since BDB is shorter, I should just finish it as quickly as possible and then go back to the Professor. I'm getting the feeling the other book is going to require all my attention. Am I correct on that?

Well to be honest, Z was kinda getting on my nerves *hunkers down to avoid the rocks* Talk about a victim. I get it but Geez! I probably wouldn't have felt that way but the Professor doesn't have that problem and it's mentioned his long fingers twice (I'm a sucker). Of all the stupid shit I've done, trying to read these two at the same time is on the list.

It was up to 11% but I could tell it's one of those books you really need to pay attention to detail so I figured it wasn't the smartest thing to continue with both books. Anyway, I'm hopefully finishing up with this one tonight so I can get back to the other one.

So far it's very interesting. I think he's the guy she keeps referring to as him. She remembered back to dancing with him to Closer by Nine Inch Nails and what he said. I'm liking it a lot except Zsadist is like most of those heroines we hate with the whole low self esteem thing. Thankfully since there are so many other characters in the book it doesn't come up often. Where Mr X was boring as hell...O is the opposite and quite funny.
