A World Without Sun discussion

She giggled, "Shouldn't you be doing homework?" she teased

"I usually don't do it." Aaron said. "I guess I'm skipping again tomorrow."

Chloe giggled, "Your such a bad role model."

"I know." he said, smiling. "I should atleast pretend to go, right?"

"Lying about this is okay." She grinned

"Yeah. Don't want to be a bad role-model." he looked at Lily.

"Your still taking her to school." Chloe closed her eyes.

"I will." he said and then more dramatically. "Then I make my escape!"

Chloe hit his arm playfully, "Hush silly."

"That was dramatic." he said oretending to sound offended. "Not silly!"

Chloe kissed his cheek, "Awww. Does the baby need a nap too?" she teased

"I'm fine." he said, kissing her back with a grin. "But I think you need some sleep."

"I go to sleep on my own." she stuck her tongue out.

"Sure." Aaron said "But I clearly remember you asking me to stay here till you fell asleep."

"Hush." she smiled

"Not that I mind." he said.

Chloe smiled and cuddled up to him, "You should sleep too. Since your going to 'school' tomorrow."

"I will." he said putting his arm around her. "Right after you fall asleep."

"Aww." Chloe yawned, "Scared I'll hear you snore."

"No. I just want to make sure you don't get nightmares." he said.

Chloe nodded, "Thank you." she kissed his cheek and fell asleep.

Aaron sat there for a few more minutes to make sure she was asleep and then slowly got up to leave the room.

"Aarun?" Lily peeked her head over her mom's sleeping body.

Aaron turned around. "Oh. You're awake." he said looking at her.

Lily raised her arms wanting to be picked up.

"You should be asleep." Aaron murmered but picked her up anyway. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"I wanna go with you." she said cutely.

"I'm going to sleep too." he said. "It's late."

"I'm don't wanna sleep." she pouted

"I'll tell you a story." he suggested. "It'll make you fallasleep faster."

"I don't wanna sleep." she repeated

"Then what do you want to do?" he asked.

"Play." she grinned

Aaron sighed. "Okay. Only for some time." he said. "Then you've got to go to sleep. Okay?"

Lily didn't answer his question just jumped from his arms and ran off.

"Come on!" he said. "Lily!" he went after her.

Lily giggled and hide behind the tv.

"No hide-and-seek." Aaron said switching on the light in the room and walking towards the tv.

Lily snickered and stayed still.

Aaron went behind the tv and picked her up again. "Not so fast." he said.

"Again. Again." she smiled

"No more." he said with as much sternness as he could muster. "You've gotta sleep."

Lily pouted, "Your no fun."

"I am fun when I want to be." he said. "Just not now." he started carrying her back to her bedroom.

Lily pouted the whole way but eventually feel back asleep.

"Good night." Aaron said softly, placing her on the bed next to her mother.

Chloe was crying in her sleep.

Aaron paused on his way out. He sighed and walked back to the bed. He sat down next to Chloe. "It's okay." he murmured, running a hand lightly down her cheek.

Chloe flinched away crying more.

Aaron wondered whether he should wake her up. He pulked her close to him and hugged her. "Whatever you're thinking, it's fine." he whispered.
