A World Without Sun discussion

Aaron made himself a bowl of cereal and sat down too.

"Can we go out and play later?" Lily asked him

"Yeah sure." he said. "There's a park nearby."

"Yay!" She smiled and waved at Chloe who stood in the doorway.

Aaron turned around and saw Chloe. "Hey." he smiled at her.

"Hey." she smiled and kissed his cheek and sat next to Lily.

Aaron smiled at her. "Slept well?" he asked.

She nodded. "You should go back to sleep though." she reminded him.

"I'm okay." he said shaking his head. "I got some sleep."

Chloe frowned. "Please."
"With a cherry on top." Lily added

Aaron laughed. "Is that you two teaming up against me? I said I'm fine."

"I don't believe you." Chloe smiled and kissed his cheek. "Please Aaron. One hour tops."

He looked at both of them. "Okay." he sighed. "I'll go and sleep." he got up to go to his room.

Chloe followed him up just to make sure he went to bed.

Aaron looked at her and smiled. "I'm really going okay?" he said.

"Just making sure." Chloe smiled and kissed his cheek.

He kissed her back and went inside the bedroom. "Just for an hour." he said.

"Yup." She smiled and headed back to Lily.

Aaron went insdide the room and went to sleep.

3 hours later, Lily came and knocked on Aaron's door.

Aaron woke up with a jolt of surprise. He opened the door. "Hi." He smiled at Lily.

"Time to play." She smiled

"Oh yeah." he sId rubbing the back of his head. "Feels like I slept for hours."

"You did." Lily tried to count, "3."

"Looks like I overslept." he said sighing. "Okay. Come on. Let's go. Where's your mom?"

"Napping." Lily said.

"Okay. Then let her sleep." Aaron said. "We can go to the park."

"Yay." Lily clapped and tugged his hand, "Lets go! Lets go!"

Aaron smiled and let himself be pulled along by her.

Lily pulled him with her outside.

Lily skipped next to Aaron, "Think mommy's up yet?"

"She is." Aaron said. "She xalled me. She was worried about you."

"Oh." she said and hoped she wouldn't get in trouble for waking Aaron up.

"She's fine, I guess." he said. He took out the key to open the door of his house.

Lily nodded and was quickly pulled into a hug by Chloe.

"I'm sorry." Aaron said again, seeing how worried Chloe had been.

"Its okay." Chloe told him.
"I made a friend mommy!" Lily told her, happy.
"Really?" she smiled.
"Ya, Aarun helped."

"I didn't do much." Aaron said, laughing. "I just introduced them and they hit it off immediately."

"Thanks great baby." Chloe smiled and mouthed 'thanks' to Aaron. It was always hard for her to just Lily to speak to people let alone make friends

Aaron nodded his head in acknowledgement with a smile.

"I should let you take her out more often." she teased

"I don't mind." he said "As long as you come the next time we go."

Chloe nodded and felt embarrassed by how worried she had been

"So you are coming aren't you?" Aaron asked.

"Yea." she nodded

Aaron smiled. "Why don't we go inside?"

Chloe nodded and went inside and listen to Lily talk about her new friend

Aaron followed them inside and shut the door behind him.
