A World Without Sun discussion

Aaron looked through the paper again. There was nothing resonable in his. "Got anything?" he asked Chloe.

Chloe pointed to an apartment in her paper.

((Let's just imagine its good enough for them. I don't want Aaron blowing a fume.))

Aaron looked at the paper and then stared at it for a few seconds. "That's really good." he said after a while.

Chloe smiled a bit and stood up, "Well what are we waiting for?"

Aaron stood up too and grinned. "Let's go."

Chloe handed him the paper and picked up Lily, since the little girl was practically asleep on her feet at this point.

Aaron folded the paper and looked at Lily. "She's all tired out, isn't she?" he said.

Chloe nodded, "Yea, its around her nap time."

Aaron gave Lily a worried look. "Then let's get this done with." he said.

Chloe nodded and held Lily, "Lead the way."

Aaron started walking towards the place that the house was.

Chloe went and laid Lily down in one of the rooms, glad the place had come with furniture.

Aaron stood at the door of the room. "You should get some rest too." he said.

Chloe nodded and looked at him. "You too."

"I will." he said, rubbing his eyes. "I've got something to do first."

"What?" she asked him.

He did not answer for a minute and then said "Apologize."

Chloe nodded, "Alright."

"You go to sleep." Aaron said. "It'll take me a while."

"Just be careful and come back." she said and kissed his cheek.

"Um...I thought I'd cal, them." he said. "I'm not ready to face them yet."

"Still." she said, "You know I'm here for you Aaron."

"I know." he smiled and walked out of the room.

Chloe stared after him for a bit then went to her room.

Aaron went out to the hall and took out his phone. He dialed in his mother's number. It rang for a while but nobody picked up. Aaron consoled himself by thinking they must just be asleep and pushed away the thought that they would never forgive him.

Chloe was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. She sent Lily to wake up Aaron, worried about the fact he had been in his room for awhile.

Aaron woke up before Lily came to his room. He was still holding his cellphone in his hand. Still nothing. He sighed.

Lily peeked her head in and saw Aaron awake and went over to him.

"Hey." Aaron said, smiling at her.

"Hi." Lily smiled, "Mommy wants to know do you ant breakfast?"

"Yeah." Aaron got ip from his bed. "I guess I should come down now."

Lily tilted her head, "you okay?"

"Yeah. Just fine." Aaron said. "I'll be down in a minute.

"Okay." she nodded and walked out.

Aaron just sat on the bed for a minute and looked at the phone one last time. then, he walked downstairs.

Chloe smiled a bit at Aaron, "Mornin."

"Morning." Aaron said, sitting down at the table.

Chloe put some eggs in front of him. "How'd it go?"

"How did what go?" Aaron asked, studiously ignoring her face.

Chloe sighed, "So bad then?"

"I didn't say that." he said.

"Didn't have to." she told him.

"They didn't pick up the phone." he said finally.

"That might not mean anything." she said softly.

He sighed and forced a smile. "Well. Just forget about it then." he said.

She nodded and looked down, "Okay."
