A World Without Sun discussion

"I don't mind." Aaron said, smiling at her.

Lily grinned and went to get her coloring books.

Aaron sat down at the table waiting for her.

Lily came back with a handful of coloring books and dumped them on the table.

"Are we going to clour in ALL of them?" Aaron asked with a slight bit of shock in his voice.

"No." she shook her head, blushing.. She just couldn't decide on which one.

"Then which one do you want to colour in?" he asked.

"I don't know."

"Should I choose one for you?" he asked.

"Yes." she nodded and pulled up a chair.

Aaron chose one with a puppy on the cover. "How's this?" he asked.

"ok." she nodded and handed him some crayons.

Aaron was sitting at the table, looking through some papers. They'd got a few of their bills and even though his parents had left him a lot of money, he was worried.

"hey." Chloe said softly from the doorway. Her large baggy shirt nearly concealed her stomach. "whatca doing?"

"Just looking through these horrible bills." he said, leaning back. "Who knew electricity was so expensive?"

"I can get my old job to help out." she offered sitting down.

"No way." he said. "You're pregnant. I can't have you working."

"I can still help. i'm not helpless Aaron." She said.

He nodded. "But no." he said. "You are not going to work. You're seven months pregnant."

Chloe sighed, "fine, after the baby's here."

"Yes." That will be great." Aaron said.

Chloe nodded, she wished she could help out more. She felt like she was just a burden on Aaron.

"I should get a job." he said. "We can't survive on my parent's money forever." he looked down at the bills again.

Chloe nodded, "okay. You hungry? Me and Lily were about to cook dinner."

"You and Lily?" he smiled. "Lily can cook?"

"Its more like she watchs me cook." Chloe giggled.

"Should I help?" he asked. "I'm definitely feeling hungry."

"Sure." she smiled and stood up. "What do you want to eat?"

"Anything's fine." He said. "What do you have in mind?"

"sloppy joes?" she asked, they were Lily's favorites.

Aaron shrugged. "Okay." he said. "I don"t mind."

"Okay." she took his hand, "come on!"

He followed her into the kitchen. "I hope I can just watch most of the time too." he said. "I don't know how to cook."

"I'll teach you." she smiled.

"Okay." he said. "I hope it's easy."

"It is." Chloe giggled.
"Aarun!" Lily smiled and went over to Aaron.

"Hey!" Aaron smiled back at her. "Your mommy's going to teach me how to cook."

"okie." She nodded smiling, "just the 3 of us."
Chloe forced a smile wondering if Lily would be okay with a little brother.

"Yes. Just the three of us." Aaron smiled, not noticing that Chloe's smile seemed forced.

Lily grinned and went to get a stool so she could see over the counter.

"So....how do we start?" Aaron asked, looking at Chloe.

Chloe explained how to cook sloppy joes to Aaron as Lily got the stuff they needed.
