Amber (thenambsaidxx) | 6 comments Hey, guys, I'm new to this board and was browsing around to see if they had a topic on the book I'm currently reading-"Change of Heart". I haven't finished it yet, but I have to admit that while I am such a fan of Jodi, I'm not liking this one very much.

She's a great author but this reads EXACTLY like The Green Mile! I'm liking it a bit more now that I'm in the middle, but I'm hoping it gets better. What do you all think?

Maria (tess_untitled) | 20 comments Amber?! WHAT?! Missed you!! OMG! I can't believe I actually ended up running into you around Goodreads!! :D So happy to see you!!

Welcome to the group! :D

Oh, I adored "Change of Heart". Yes, it will get better. If you have read "Keeping Faith" you will recognize some characters. :) Keep your eyes open! :D

Hope you have fun here with all of us!!!

Amber (thenambsaidxx) | 6 comments TESS! I missed you too! That's sooo weird that we ran into each other here...nobody else I know uses this, which is weird because it's such a useful site!

I'm getting to like Change of Heart better, haven't read Keeping Faith yet... OMG The movie for My Sister's Keeper is coming out NEXT FRIDAY over here!!

Maria (tess_untitled) | 20 comments Yeah, so freaking weird! When I saw your name I was like "Wait there a sec... I might know this girl!" and then I saw your photo and I started giggling like a little kid "Oh, it's AMBER!!" :D I adore Goodreads... definitely useful and entertaining.

Glad to hear that! :) You should totally read "Keeping Faith" though... it's wonderful! OMG! Seriously?! You are so LUCKY! I am gonna have to wait. T_T

Amber (thenambsaidxx) | 6 comments How have you been? I was going to leave you a comment on myspace the other day but forget when I went on for the brief moment that I do...

I actually almost bought Keeping Faith the other day but I still have soooo many books that are stacked in my room for my summer reading list...it's a very high stack, lol. There's an author I've found who is very good and they call her "The southern Jodi Picoult". Her name is Diane Chamberlain and I highly recommend her book "the secret life of CeeCee Wilkes".

Maria (tess_untitled) | 20 comments I have been good, thank you for asking. What about yourself? That always happens to me. ^.^ Seriously, it kills me! I end up forgetting stuff because I disconnect myself from the RL for less than a second or two. *sighs*

Oh, it's one of my favorites! It's a wonderful book!! Ehehe, same here. I am finishing "The Pact" and then I am gonna read "The Age of Innocence" because I loved "The House of Mirth". Diane Chamberlain? I shall look for it around Amazon.co.uk :D Thank you!!!

Melissa I really enjoyed this book, I never even thought of "The Green Mile" similarities till now!
What I did not like was her having a few characters from other books in it - totally spoiled "Keeping Faith" if you haven't read it.

Kourtney (readthateventually) Oh no! This was my first JP novel and I loved it. I did feel a bit Green Mile-ish while reading it (instead of a mouse it was a bird!) but I loved it all just the same. I haven't picked up Keeping Faith yet, but now I will look into that one.

I read Change of Heart, but I haven't read Keeping Faith yet. I do things backwards sometimes LOL! I did love this book too. I think when Jodi referenced Green Mile it did change my way of imagining what I was reading. I have read about 9 of her books and I have enjoyed them. Kourtney you picked a great author to start reading!

I'm glad I did Danielle! Once I finish with my book club challenge I am doing for another group, I plan on diving into Nineteen Minutes. I've heard a LOT of great things about JP!

Nineteen Minutes is very suspenseful...let me know what you think. I really liked it!

Georgia | 4 comments This book really enthrawled me but it really drew from Keeping Faith a lot - and not just character-wise. The theme was very similar, so in that aspect a little disappointing. I enjoyed it a lot though.

Marissa Farrar | 1 comments I totally saw The Green Mile in it! It was one of the first things I noticed and it did kind of spoil the book for me.
