Ruth | 93 comments I'm doing an A-Z book challenge and the only letter I have left is Y. I would like a good young adult book. The Y can either be the first letter of the title, exempting stuff like 'A' or 'The' or it can be the first letter of the first or last name of the author. Thanks a ton!

☆Joycedale☆ | 224 comments I'm actually having the same problem. Mine can be an author only.

Shanna_redwind | 852 comments I enjoyed reading You Can Run. It's a YA mystery, and I found it fairly good.

Also YA is Jane Yolen's Pit Dragon series starting with Dragon's Blood. When I was younger this was my ultimate favourite book. I don't know how available it is now though.

Also, for Y title try here:

Rick Yancey's The Monstrumologist is awesome, if you don't mind dark & creepy.

Suzanne Young's The Program is good dystopian YA.

The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls isn't YA, but it's a literary coming-of-age story and is excellent.

Shanna_redwind | 852 comments Or go into the What's the Name of that Book bookshelf and sort for either author or title. Then you'll get the books that have stuck in everyone's memory.

if you want more teen-angsty YA:

You Know Where to Find Me by Rachel Cohn

You Remind Me Of You: A Poetry Memoir

Lisa Yee has some good MG/YA.
