You have some great books listed Naomi. I loved The Windup Girl, Dark Places and Sharp Objects.
Another vote for Windup Girl. I think it was my first Group read in YLTO. I think Dec 2012? The thread should still be floating around somewhere.
Talking of Windup, The Wind-up Bird Chronicles seems to be appearing on quite a number of peoples lists for next year - I may well be tempted to get it and add it to mine too.

I have been wanting to read The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle too! So far I have not been creative enough to pull it into my list. I might need to revise. :)Ooh. Perhaps if there is enough interest we could try to work this into a monthly read or side read?
House of Leaves is insane! It's the book I'm 'most proud' of reading. You've got some great lines of thought there Naomi!
I have House of Leaves sitting on my bookshelf. I may have to read it for this challenge too.

I bought it a couple of years ago and have been procrastinating.
Even though it was a marathon, I was really really glad I read it. It's very overwhelming at the beginning, but once I got going I couldn't stop reading - I had to know what he would throw in next!
The House Girl is in my list too. Hope we both enjoy it!
Finished my first book just a few minutes ago.

I read The Starship Troopers way too many years ago but still remember parts!
I see we will both be reading Scarlet and Cress. Although I only have Cress on one of my lists, I still need to read Scarlet first.
I liked the Wind Up Girl very much and The Strawberry Girl was cute.
Finished Slick's Slugs. And man do I feel like I am moving like a slug. Not reading much so far this year. 8 books behind my goal and lots of books behind compared to end of last April. Had to give up on
House of Leaves for right now. Just not capturing my interest and requiring too much concentration.
Congratulations on finishing Slick's! I am almost there. :). What was a your favorite?
