I read the Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks last year and thought it was really well written - terrible story, but the author did a wonderful job. And kudos to the Lacks family for being brave enough to trust an author to tell their story.

I also read my first two Jacqueline Winspear novels last year and thought they were delightful! Looks like you've got some good reads lined up, Lorelei!

I will update this section when I get my computer in Feb.

I saw the movie The Fault in Our Stars last night. I really enjoyed it. It followed the book extremely well and the actors were well chosen. I actually like the movie better than the book which is very rare for me. I would highly recommend the book and the movie. It has a really important lesson for all of us - Be Grateful for every moment.

I've updated my reading, I'm not going to make my goal, but I sure have read some really great books lately.

I'm reading as fast as I can! I'm at 18/30. Next up: Her Royal Spyness.
