How "steamy" do you want the books C? You've definitely asked the right group of readers for suggestions. :o)
Also, how "traditional" do you want the vamps to be? Sparkly aside, there are different vampire types, and, well, we can find them to suit just about any tastes. . .
A few quick suggestions (I'm sticking to series so that you'll be occupied for a day or two--hundred):
A Girl's Guide to Vampires--vampires with humour thrown in. But still, fairly "traditional" vampires--cursed beings, no soul until "saved" by that one special female. . .
Night Pleasures vampires as heroes--and servants of Artemis. . .
A Hunger Like No Other vampires and werewolves and demons, oh my . . . again, with humour
One Bite With A Stranger vampires and witches and werewolves oh my. . . again, with humour (and the occasional fae, just for you)
A Quick Bite scientifically created vampires (from Atlantis) as you would expect from that premise humour
Moon Called this is UF rather than PNR, but, well, Patty writes one HECK of a good story, so I had to throw it out there
Blue Moon mostly were-wolves and they are evil but a good series so thought I'd mention it anyway
Magic Bites UF again, and the vampires in this book are probably the most "different" ones out there--even more so than sparkly ones. . . But a totally good series
So, have fun reading
