Kate (kaitlins16) I think it's time we do another fun challenge in the group. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) How about an authors challenge?

1. Read a book by a Goodreads author.
2. Read a book by an Indie author.
3. Read a bookBy a author who published their first book this year.
4. Read a book by a famous author.
5. Read a book by one of your favorite authors.
6. Read a book by an author you have never heard of.
7. Read a book by an author who writes in a genre you have never read.
etc

Jackie - Fire & Ice Book Reviews (jackiefireicebookreviews) Or a series challenge.

The mods will choose a bunch of different series, and the members will have to choose x amount of series they haven't read before.

Each member would have to read the first book of each series they chose.

Damini Nice ideas Jackie!
I think we'll use some of those for sure. Thank you! :)

Damini How about an alphabetical reading challenge?
Throughout the year or may be for 6 months. (if for a year it'll be 2 books a month and since 2 alphabets remain left we can read those in any month we wish.)
Like say, in January we read two books whose titles start with A and B.
In February books starting with C and D. and so on.

Damini And non-reading challenges would be great too!

Damini That's a good suggestion, Katie. :)
We'll try to get to that one!

John Burnett | 9 comments How about a challenge to read an author you never read before OR a genre of book you never read before. You can try a newly published author whose first book might just be a blockbuster if enough readers like it. Or, if you only read fiction, try non-fiction for a change. After all, variety is the spice of life!
