Santa’s elves thought little about the first Mars colony. It was a human thing after all, and had nothing to do with making toys and treats, so there was no reason to pay it any attention…

Until Santa pointed out there were children on Mars, and any place with children should be the elves’ concern. When Santa put Twinkie in charge of building a spaceship to deliver toys to the children of Mars, Twinkie quickly warmed to the challenge. Building the spaceship would be something big, and an opportunity to put past failures behind him.

Yet, elves are not rocket scientists. When Santa’s Public Relations Department found outside consultation, it came in the form of a married couple of rocket scientists who were thrilled at the idea of going to the North Pole, as long as their children could come with them.

But the North Pole is no place for children. Twinkie couldn’t smoke around children, let alone work around their distracting influence. And no one at the North Pole played.

With Christmas fast approaching, can Twinkie finish building the Santa’s spaceship on time? Or will a trio of children tip him over the breaking point first?
