4th monopoly complete with Fantasy. I really enjoyed this one. Finally got around to reading Otranto, I LOVED Jonathan Strange, and Pomegranates was a great literary jaunt with Wilde. I'd recommend all three of these books to anyone that enjoys fantasy or literature.

Haha, I just wanted to ask someone here if I could use the Catcher in the Rye as a coming of age in the Young Adult section.
So I guess I can :).

Laura Albins (lauraalbins) | 56 comments Mediaeval historical: I just finished The Sunne in Splendour The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman by Sharon Kay Penman, a novel about Richard III. It was a mammoth read which took me a week (!) but worth it. Would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys well researched historical fiction.

message 180: by Jodi (new)

Jodi (readinbooks) | 1971 comments Adriana if you would count Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking for the Science category of Non-ficion then I also read The Ghost Map: The Story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic--and How It Changed Science, Cities, and the Modern World for History.

I don't know if Quiet would count though because it is more psychology. If it doesn't count let me know.
