Now, some of these smaller comps don't have disk drives, right? I ask because my kids play games they get on CD. How do you get data from a disk onto a computer without a disk drive?

yes, it was optional, and I didn't want one. Excess weight. I have a different computer I'd use for that.

It also doesn't have Office on it.

Why purchasing a computer is connected to your cell and wireless bill.

It was a netbook - a 2lb. little computer without much memory, no disc drives, and runs on Linux. They have a wireless transmitter in them so you could email/GR/twitter from wherever. I was planning to use it at school.
