Hi, do we have a Room of Requirement yet? I mean, we have the DA, but that doesnt really count.

Can the active members be moderators as well? Cuz there isn't much to do now since not any people role play, and i would want to be a moderator to help clean up the things.

Has a message been broadcasted to everyone who is a member of the group saying its being remodeled and to not give up on it yet? I know there was a topic but was there a message?

^_^ glad I can help. If there is anything I can do to help that most people dont want to do (ie deleting members who havent posted once) and stuff like that let me know. You can grant me temporary modship to handle the task then remove it if you wish.

Heh, I don't think I'm too high up as a mod yet to go around granting status and deleting people yet, but thanks anyways

Yeah. I mean when you think of the timing, activity in most groups usually dwindles during the school months, than increases exponentially during the summer when there is more free time.

Yeah. Unless you have a mom that schedules week after week of summer stuff and its basically the same as school. (Cough cough I'll be doing the scheduling this year)

^_^ That is in fact something that I would be interested in. I just figured that if you had plenty of mods already, temporary modship to fix issues the others don't have time for would be enough for me. Like I said before, I just want the group to be like it used to again.

Well, we'll all keep it in mind! I'm sure we couldn't go wrong letting another person mod with us all, and we could definitely not go wrong if that person was you. I think we'll need you around sooner or later.

You should add that anyone who hasn't given up on the group and want's to remain active should post somewhere, maybe make a topic that says like Activity or something so anyone who wants to be active in the group who hasn't been posting lately can post there and whoever doesnt in say, two maybe three weeks gets the boot. If they don't like being kicked out and message you or one of the other mods with a good reason for not posting (ie school, confiscated laptop/mobile and so on) than you can just invite them back ^_^
Setting a deadline like that usually encourages people to post thats why i suggested it.

Hey everyone! I still remember a few years ago when lots of people rp, it was reli fun at that time! My sister used to play as well.I think the main problem is that many people are growing up and everyone gets busier and busier so they don't spare time to rp anymore. Then, we don't get many new members, so basically not many people can rp. I hope this group can go back in being the totally awesome group i knew!!! :)

Lexi, you are completely right! This group used to be really active, but it's slowed, definitely. We hope we can start attracting some new members, so be sure to share our link on all the social websites you might be involved in. We all have definitely been adding more and more to our schedules over time, but hopefully we can get some free time to invest back into this lovely group. Just spread the word and maybe we can bring in some fresh activity.

Meanwhile, what do you guys think about having a big Valentine's Day smash here on the group? There could be a dance, and a whole shabannngggg. Tell me what you think and we'll get started on it, if it's something everyone is interested in!

sounds like something that would not only be fun, but it could very well draw people in as well to know that there are activities going on in the group in my opinion

Maybe to ensure that we have people who will participate, a topic should be made to 'RSVP' their characters for the party, and it also gives them somewhere to post what their characters wear.

Tell ya what. Half way through the planning, we can see about sharing a link to places like Tumblr, other goodreads groups, and things like that, and see if we can't get some new members. Then we'll throw all our old, beloved characters in and have a great dance!

I just posted advertising for this group in one of my groups called Dumbledorks, which has over a thousand members in it. Hopefully people will join and invite their friends to make the place active.

Also, this is a suggestion but, maybe you should send out a warning message to everyone in the group? Like they need to post at least once somewhere in the group (or make a discussion called active where they will say they are going to participate in the group) or else they will be booted. Because it doesnt matter if you have a thousand members, if only three people(for example) in a group containing a thousand are active, people won't be as inclined to join because no one is active in it. you get my drift?

OH! I know! Just do a 1,2,3.... thread! Basically, you alternate with other members to try and build the number up as high as you can go!

Mods can help them count up or 0 them at their leisure!
