Rachel (rachelkisley) I noticed the A-Z challenge and thought it would be a really good way to get through some of my "to be read" pile, so the below list is compiled from books that are already on my rather eclectic bookshelves. Hi Becka, ah it was such a lovely story! It is quite a quick read, it didn't take me much time at all. I haven't really read anything like it before, but it's such a heart warming story. I definitely recommend it.

I believe there is a follow up novel too, which I am interested to read at some point. I also think there is a children's version of the story (I imagine with some of the drug references cut out - as the author was a recovering drug addict when he found Bob) with more pictures in it too.

Agreed. I'm keen to read the children's version now too, mostly for the pictures I'll admit, but also to see how it was revised for a younger audience.
