Something is not right here... I read #2 and #3 back to back and it hits me that Brenda and Jorge do not sounded like they are working for WICKED at all in The Scorch Trials.

Can you made a case for them on how you'd think they are working for WICKED in the #2 book?

They were supposed to act like they had the flare so they could help the gladers, which means they couldn't know that they worked for WICKED. It's just like Teresa when she was forced to act like she hated Thomas and wanted him dead. It was just another variable to see how they reacted, especially the part where one of the WICKED members was going to throw Brenda off the berg.
