Kristin Campbell Reynard says that Gabriel will make an appearance in The Raven, but did anyone notice that one of the characters from The Raven makes an appearance in Redemption?

Remember the scene at the Uffizi Museum when Julianne notices a guy and then Gabriel gets a weird vibe from him and tells her to stay away from him? Yeah, I'm speculating that's a scene we will see again, but from another perspective.

Anyone else agree?

Michelle °O° I just thought it weird that he was in it but only for a scene and then not mentioned again.
I am also wondering if the homeless guy that Julianne met in the first book is the one that is murdered in The Raven.

Yeah, that's what made me think that the two scenes will coincide.
I didn't think about the homeless guy. I wouldn't be surprised if you are right about that. That was another unsolved plot detail.

Susan Ewing Now that you mention it, I totally think it is the weird guy from the museum. Otherwise, the character was useless in terms of moving the story along and I don't see this author doing that if he didn't have some use for him later.

Katrina yeah I think it's that man at the museum too.wasn't there a scene where Julia tried to find the homeless man but couldn't? maybe he is murdered

Gabi Agree. Not sure how it correlates but there was a scene at the end of redemption that shows that mysterious man Juan just stolen the pictures Gabriel donated and spoke of killing someone.

I think that scene was part of the preview for The Raven and not a part of Redemption.

Ana Wow, I thought I had been the only one noticing it. Both that the guy from the Ufizi Gallery looked weird to Gabriel, and believe me, the Professor is a guy we would accept for his wits. And secondly, there is a moment that Julianne is wandering around Florence trying to look for that homeless person and he didn't appear at all. Weird, but brilliant, I like it when authors connect their books. So, the more I'll be looking forward to see the Emersons in The Raven!

Laura I agree it was the man at the museum. He doesn't think the prints should belong to Gabriel.

Tara Henderson I was kind of confused about that part in the museum b/c he was never mentioned again so I think that is who is in the Raven also!

Pasqualina DiVito To me I feel that the homeless man and also the guy in the museum will be in the Raven. I feel that is how he put them there to put them in the Raven. But it will be interesting to see though

Rebecca What about the little girl at the orphanage? At the end of the preview for "The Raven" he talks about an undeniably sweet smell of blood. The girl was unable to speak because of trauma...just wondering if she saw things she wasn't supposed to for a child and its her smell that brings these otherworldly beings running?

Pasqualina DiVito hopefully in the raven shes in there

Yea that guy just disappeared from Redemption. I was wondering who he was and what his connection was to Gabriel and Julia and then no more was said about him.

Jeynna ( The Romance Junkie) wow..after reading all of the comments above, I can't help myself but being impatient about Reynard's next book The Raven! and yeah after reading the excerpt at the end of the book, I immediately thought about the guy who approach Julia but never did I thought about the homeless man. I thought he's a guardian angel or something and vanished just like that after Gabriel and Julia resolve their problems together hahaha xD.
