As Nikki said, so far very atmospheric, but he does maybe over do it showing us the anxiety building from several corresponding point of views.
Also been inspired to research caimans - a very Quinn from Jaws type moment. The setting is a difficult one for me on a personal level, so its definitely going to be strong horror...
And the shit is about to hit the fan!

It does seem long on the Kindle, but the description says 334 pages. That's pretty short compared to some of the books I have read lately.


I can see Saks going either way, too, Angie. Or going out the most horrifically :)

I think Saks is going to be a survivor for at least a little while. He is a nasty dude, and tough, but how much will that matter. The fog is a serious equalizer.



He is isn't he , just one minute being a total hard ass who's out just for himself, but then caring about what happens to his men. He just can't seem decide who he is!
