The Sword and Laser discussion

I have really enjoyed the Hobbit films. Even though Peter Jackson has changed things about the story, I still like it. I just recently reread the Hobbit, and I can still say that I feel that, despite the changes that Jackson has made, he has still remained true to the spirit of the book. Also, I think the lotr movies are probably the best fantasy movies we are likely to get, so if peter jackson wants to show more orc-slicing elf action, I'm all for it.
