If you type in "Frederick" by Leo Lionni into the search box, the link that comes up is to the title with the French spelling and the description of the book in the French language.

The French edition is the most popular edition and therefore the default edition.
I don't get how it could have gotten most popular? It's not like the book was written in French or the author is French. It's just what comes up first, so that's probably how it got to the first place position. Because people kept shelving it even though it's in French. Isn't there a way to correct it?
No. Only Goodreads authors can choose the main edition of their books
