Eira glided into the café her white blond hair flowing away from her face. She ordered a laté, then spotted her cousin. "Eli!" She cried rushing to give him a hug around the neck.

Eira pulled away with a smile. "I don't know you were here!" She said grinning. She resumed her place in line- so she wouldn't loose it.

Eira smiled. Eli was one of the only people she could ever fully trust. "Yeah here I am. What courses are you taking? And what's your.. You know. ((Power))." She asked him tossing her hair behind her shoulders again. People around the store looked at her and stared. it's like they've never seen white hair on a your person before. laughed Eira in her head.

"Practically the same courses then. Maybe we can help each other on our homework?" Eira suggested. "And your power?" She asked whispering. She always forgot other peoples powered- no idea why. You would think she would remember her cousins but- nope.

"It's snow and ice. I forgot what it was called though." Eira said moving forward in the line. She was itching to show Eli what she could do- but that would have to wait till after her frozen hot chocolate.

"What game?" Asked Eira raising a brow while tapping her foot. She couldn't wait to taste her favorite drink again.

"All we are doing is standing in line for food silly." Laughed Eira pleasantly. Finally the line moved up again. She eas almost the next one to order.

"Not really you just need to get used to it. So, what are you getting here?" Eira asked. She moved forward again.

"I'm getting the frozen hot chocolate- it's the best thing here." Eira explained. Finally it was her turn, "hello miss. Could I have a medium frozen hot chocolate please?"
"Yes, that will be 2.25" the cashier stated.
Eira rummaged in her poket and pulled out a five. "Here you go." She said smiling. Te chaser gave her the change and Eira stepped aside.

((Beautifuly written stephine btw))

"No Eli this is money. This is what you pay for things with." Giggled Eira. "I'll have to explain some things to you before school starts." She decided ask she walked to a table. "Eli would you want to sit here?" She asked her cousin.

Eira bit her lip and frowned a bit. She had no idea who that girl was- she wasn't, couldn't, go sit down next to a stranger. Rita hugged and walked solomly behind Eli and sat down next to him. She said nothing but gave the girl a smile.

"Oh, hi my name is Willa". she looks around at the other tables quickly. Gaining some confidence that they didnt sit here out of necessity she asked, "Are you two from the Academy?"
Eira nodded. Well at least she's like us. she thought eying the girl. She seemed harmless enough, and a good blast of snow would hold her off in case she tried anything. Eira swept her blond hair over one shoulder and said, "yes we go to the Academy. You are too then?"

Eira bit her tongue inside her mouth. Be nice she coaxed herself. "So...er Willa. whats your... power" Eira said mouthing the last word, as to not let surrounding strangers hear.

Looking around curiously again she noted the number of people in the cafe was enough that no one might be paying attention to them. She long ago learned about safety in numbers. Turning her hand over so that her charm fell into her upraised palm and cupping it with her other hand to block it from easy view she concentrated on that place inside her where her powers grew from. The leaf which had been hard as an oak leaf and a dark green in color began to soften and grow paler. It took a few moments to happen as speeding up this process for a normal leaf took hours, but with her charm, which was a part of herself, took only minutes. Soon it started to shrink in size and took the form of node newly sprung from a twig which did not exist.
Letting her power go the leaf began to grow again, rebounding to its natural full leaf state. Any other leaf she would have to expend energy to grow again but her charm worked differently and made this form of her powers easier to handle. "It's much easier for me to make them move around but there aren't a bunch of leaves scattered around in here and moving them would make a commotion."

She loved nature just as much as the next person, maybe not as much as Eli going by his silly grin when he talks about being outside, but she has seen the darker side of her own powers, remembering the cuts that her older cousins would wear after teasing her.
"I never thought about the difference before, but I really only interacted with the leaves." She furrows her brow in contemplation shortly before moving her thoughts on. "I look forward to seeing you in your element Eli." Glancing at the girl again she wondered what she did. If Eli says he is similar to herself that would mean the girl could do something entirely different. She never actually got her name but was to afraid to ask, how polite was it to wonder around saying 'what can you?' She will need to learn proper etiquette for this place and soon.

((If you like just put your character in the Cafe, Eli'll drag her into it after seeing her charm ;) he's not too knowledgeable on 'proper etiquette' ether :P))
Eli tried to keep is grin enthusiastic, but he began to feel queasy again so he relaxed back into his chair again, "to be honest I don't know a lot about cities, I used to live in the forest" he said proudly, he didn't realize it wasn't a common thing he just assumed she didn't since she talked about different cities.
Eli noticed her glace at Eira and his grin came back a little, "I think it's different, I can't really grow things like that, but I can do other things" he said with a slight laugh

Savannah made her way into the small café of Hawksville, the small town near Baldiver Academy, looking around at all the people. All normal people, with no idea of what went on at that 'boarding school full of snobbish rich kids'.
Fingering the charm that rested on her neck, she looked at the line. Not too bad.
A few kids about her age sat at a table near her, but she ignored them. Standing at the end of the line, she tapped her foot absentmindedly.

Then she realized it wasn't like that at all. Noticing the charms around each of their necks, arms, or wherever they might have been, she approached him.
"You're...from Baldiver?"
