He chuckled. "Gagagago to you too." he said.

She let go and clapped. "Ooooo!"

"Oooo." he said, widening his eyes.

Lillian grinned. Her guns showing. She then stuck her thumb in her mouth and was out like a light.

Courtney smiled softly. "You're good with kids.."

He smiled softly. "My brother's into medicine and so I sometimes hang out with the nurses and babies in the one section." he explained. He looked at her and was hit with just how pretty she was.

"Well, she likes you. Which is a good thing... She needs to talk to someone besides me and her babysitter.." She smiled. Her eyes twinkled slightly.

He stared until his brain caught up. "Oh, oh, yeah. I'd love to spend time with, uh, her." he said.

Courtney blushed and smiled. Her brown chocolate eyes twinkled. She slowly traced over taking Lillian and laying her careful not to wake her in the crib. Covering her. She looked back over. "Do you know how to skate?" She asked

He nodded. "Yeah. Do you?"

She blushed. "No! Never have done it before!"

"I'll teach you then." he said decidedly.

"I don't know... I might make you fall!" She blushed.

He shook his head. "No worries. If I fall, it'll feel like someone poked me compared to some of the injuries I've had."

She stood. She smiled at Lana. "Can you watch her?" She asked holding Lillian.

Lana nodded, taking the little girl and sitting down.

Jesse smiled triumphantly and led Courtney to the skate rentals.

"Oh goodness. I'm going to get myself killed.." She whispered

He chuckled and shook his head. "I promise you won't." he said, then got the skates, estimating her size.

She then sat down taking the skates taking off her shoes and pulling on the skates. She giggled shaking her head. "Hmm. You are very good at telling size!" She teased

He shrugged. "It's a gift." he said, smiling. He slipped on his skates quickly and laced them up. "Let me know if you want me to check them."

She held out her feet grinning. "How'd i do?" She asked looking over at him.

Jesse pulled at them and nodded. "Good. Now, do you want to stand up?" he asked, standing up.

She nodded. She wobbled a bit as she stood. Her hands held out.

He took her hands to help her keep her balance. "Don't worry about me, just focus your mind on your feet, but keep your eyes up. You go where you look." he instructed.

She took a deep breath. Then stepped out into the ice. She stopped catching her balance. "Ah ha! See..." She blushed. She had this

Jesse slowly skated backwards so he could watch her. "Push and slide. And relax, you'll fall more if you're stiff as a board." he said.

Courtney relaxed and moved one foot then the other. Then she yelped and slipped falling on we butt. Ow...

Jesse helped her up. "You okay?" he checked.

She blushed a bright red. Liking the feeling of his hand. "Yes... I got a little cushion on my bottom!"

"And I like it." he whispered in her ear. He pulled back and began skating backwards, pulling her along.

She blushed brightly feeling her heart racing. She smiled. "Is that right?" She grinned kind of getting the hang of the skating. Her hands in his.

He grinned and nodded. "I also like your eyes, and your optimism." he said.

He blushed. "Oh stop it!" She grinned. She let go of his hands skating on her own now

He grinned at her and winked. He began walking on ice, showing off.

She crossed her arms. "How can you even do that? Okay you are just too good!" She exclaimed. "First you are very attractive! Second you are good with kids! And you can skate! What else can you do!?"

"Fight. And apparently I'm a pretty good kisser, but I'm not sure about bed." he offered.

She smiled slightly. "Kissing would be a debatable thing.." She nodded. Leaving about the in bed part. She winked playfully.

He chuckled and pulled her close. "Mind if I try it on you?" he whispered.

She gasped slightly feeling herself against him. Her heart raced. She shivered slightly. She licked her lips. She hadn't kissed anyone before! "I...I..".

"I'll take that as a yes." he whispered, giving her a quick kiss.

Her eyes widened. She kissed him back slightly before pushing him away. She slipped falling on her butt. Her face bright red. She hadn't been that close to someone since.... That horrible man! And it just... Brought back so many memories. And now she was embarrassed. .

Jesse helped her up, looking ashamed. "I suppose that brought back bad memories." he whispered.

She trembled. A guy trying to flirt and like on her and she pushed him away! She pushed him away! How was she supposed to let anyone love her...? "I'm sorry..."

He shook his head. "I should've known. Not your fault." he mumbled, blushing. He pulled her along, finishing the lap.

She squeezed his hand. "I liked it though.. Those people were right.. You are a good kisser..@

He blushed brightly and wouldn't meet her eye. "Maybe I was too forward this time." he mumbled to himself.

"Jesse.... Stop it..." She whispered.

"I am sorry. I wasn't thinking." he mumbled. He placed a hand on the small of her back and held her hand with the other hand. Hr slowly kept skating, hoping that if he slowed down, she wouldn't expect anything big and he wouldn't do something stupid.

She leaned into him and kissed him then. Pulling herself close.

Jesse blinked, surprised, before kissing her back.

She pulled back after a while smiling sweetly. Looking up into his eyes.
