A World Without Sun discussion

He was blushing and grinning. "You're not so bad yourself." he whispered.

It was her turn to blush. She tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Why thank you!"

He kissed her cheek. "Let's finish this lap, then we'll take a break.

((I was thinking he'd go into the bathroom and end up in a fight with the guy who raped Courtney. What do you think?))

((Oh..... Yes! I like! Haha... But does Jesse know it's that guy. Or would he find out after when... Courtney comes to find him...?))

Courtney gave his hand a squeeze nodding. "Sounds great!"

((Maybe the guy saw them hanging out and told him?))

He grinned and pulled her on.

Courtney grinned. "I'm so getting the hang of this!"

He chuckled and nodded. He looked away from her and where they were going. He realized they were close and smiled.

She grinned. Letting go of his hand. "Race ya!" And she took off.

He laughed and took off after her, just beating her and stopped, spraying ice onto the carpet beyond.

She slipped beside him and laughed. "You won..." She laughed panting. "But I did pretty good.. Well.. Amazing.."

He nodded, laughing. "You did great!" he said, hugging her then leading her out.

She walked over to the same bench. A huge goofy grin along her lips as she took off the skates. "I like skating!!"

Jesse pulled off his skates and slid on his shoes. "Watch them for me? I'm going to stop in the boys' room." he said.

"Okay!" She smiled pulling on her boats and flashing Lana a grin.

Billy, a tall man watched Jesse and followed behind him.

He got up and went to the bathroom.

Lana walked over, carrying Lillian. "So?" she asked.

"He kissed me!" She grinned.


Billy growled shoving Jesse forward and closing the door behind him.

Lana grinned. "He's a big flirt. And he likes you a lot."

Jesse looked slightly alarmed. "Sir?"

"How can you tell?"

He glared. "Back off! She's mine!"

She raised an eyebrow. "He's a flirt but has never kissed a girl on their first meeting."

He frowned. "You're the sick bastard that raped her?" he said with disgust.

Courtney blushed touching her lips and grinning.


Billy glared.
"Dam right! Oh she was just so... Good! Now you little $hit! You are going to leave her alone!"

Jesse exploded and shoved the guy back so hard he flew through the doorway as a guy came in.

Lana noticed this, recognized the guy, and began leading Courtney away.

Courtney looked confused then turned her head looking seeing.... Her heart raced and she instantly trembled. Him....

Billy groaned his back sliding against the cold ground. He glared slowly standing. "What? Jealous!?"

Courtney's feet were frozen.

Lana grabbed Courtney and pulled her over to the door. "Jesse'll handle it." she whispered.

Jesse crouched down, close to two knives and a gun.

Bully laughed. "I'll have her again and again. I know where she lives now... I watch her every night waiting for a chance..." He grinned.


Courtney trembled. "Oh my god!"

Lana frowned and put Lillian into Courtney's arms, pulling out her own knife, just in case.

Jesse roared and tackled the guy. He sat on the guy, beating his face, releasing his anger.

Lana got nervous. "Okay, this is terrible. We may need backup." she whispered, also getting her phone ready.

"What!? Why. What's happening!"


Billy cried out. His nose bleeding feeling his fists collide. He yelled in angry shoving at Jesse. On top now and punching him in the face.

"Jesse doesn't fight like this." she whispered.

Jesse slipped out the knife on his belt and stabbed the guy in the leg.

Billy cried out falling off of Jesse. "You.." He cursed



Courtney but her lip. "Do something!" She whispered. "Don't get yourself hurt..."

Lana bit her lip.

Jesse got up, grabbing his gun and hitting the guy in the head with the butt.

Billy gasped and lay on the ground unconscious.

Courtney trembled. She pulled herself together. She walked over setting Lillian in the stroller and running over grabbing jesse's hand. "Stop.."

Jesse put his gun away. "It's not loaded." he promised. "But we should get you out of here. Maybe to Lana's."

Lana rolled Lillian over to her mother. "Relax, he's done now." she said, placing a hand on his arm.

Courtney had her back to that man. She could not look at him. She have his hand a squeeze. "Okay..." She nodded. "let's go..."

He took her hand and led her out, wiping the blood off his face.

Lana followed at a distance with Lillian.

Courtney bit her lip. "I'll get you clean up once we get there..." She nodded.

Lillian smiled up at Lana.

She smiled down at the baby, making faces.

He gave her a lopsided grin. "Thanks, but if my brother's home, you won't need to and won't want to."

She looked up at him. "I've done it to myself before, I'm sure I could help," she nodded.

Lillian clapped laughing.

Lana bounced her and grinned.

Jesse made a face. "But he's been studying to be a doctor for ages and doesn't pass up a chance to practice." he explained.

"Okay, I guess I'll let him do that then.." She nodded. After a long pause she looked up. "What happened in there?"

He blushed. "He told me... things I wish I hadn't known. And... well, I got mad." he mumbled.

She looked down. "I'm sorry..". She whispered. Trembling.

"Not your fault that he was a sick bastard." Jesse whispered, raising her head to look at him. "He didn't have to tell me. I didn't have to feel the need to get revenge for you."

She smiled sadly. "Let's go get you cleaned up right now and then.. I might feel a bit less guilty..."

"I'd kiss you, but I don't want you to look like me." he said, chuckling.

She laughed and traced his lip which was cut slightly. "Well then, we better hurry along then!" She smiled gently.

He laughed. "To Lana's." he said smiling.

Aaron walked into the skating rink with Chloe. He hadn't skated for quite some time and hoped he remembered how.

"Lead the way." Chloe said looking around nervous.

"Come on." Aaron took hold of her hand.

She nodded and went to the stand and got her skates.
