Tracy Tappan Hey there, I'm new to the group. Looking for good vampire romances to read. I love JR Ward, Lara Adrian, and Jeaniene Frost. The darker side of vampires, rather than something in YA. Got any suggestions?

L.E. Fitzpatrick (l_e_fitzpatrick) | 2 comments If you're after romance I'd try the Anno Dracula books. Really well written and totally original. These are clever books more inline with your Anne Rice/Dracula stories only more sophisticated and witty.

If you want to go really dark read: The Passage - scared the crap out of me.

Tracy Tappan Hey, thanks, L.E. Both of these look fascinating. The first sounds like an interesting twist on the Queen Victoria history, the second appears grueling (is it bad that I'm drawn to the second?? Ha!). I usually like some romance in my paranormal books, but I've put both of these on my TBR shelf, because they look like they're worth the read, for sure. Have you ever read Susannah Sandlin? She's on my TBR shelf, too, but I haven't cracked the book, yet.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) Definitely darker vamp type PNR:

Try. SAINT VAMPIRE

It's a different twist on Vampire stories. I really enjoyed it. If you like werewolves it's got a couple of those too.

s.shadereads Blood Ties Bundle (Blood Ties) by Jennifer Armintrout I suggest the blood ties series. Such great books, definitely adult based.

Sana Zameer (sanazameer) I have just finished reading first book in Freda Warrington's Blood Wine series. Its great vampire series.

Antony Stanton (antonyjstanton) Hi, saw the theme of the post and thought I could add to it, at the risk of being a little cheeky and self-promoting - so obviously, take my suggestion with a pinch of salt...
I have just published a gothic/vampyric novel that may appeal. "Once Bitten, Twice Die". It is currently on Amazon at discount, but better yet it's in the Goodreads Giveaway section.
Not sure if that helps, add if not then please ignore...
