and - One of my most recent favorite multi lingual heroes is Javier.

Both the hero and heroine are multi lingual. Javier is Puerto rican and speaks English and Spanish (maybe one other, more than one other? but I'm not sure on that one). And Laura is Swedish and speaks English, Swedish, and couple other languages.
