I would like to offer a second vote for, The Great Gatsby...surely one of the most immaculately written novels of the twentieth century.

I don't believe that you will get any argument regarding that observation.
I nominate The First Phone Call from Heaven by Mitch Albom. Wishing you all the best! :)

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

This book is a fast read and well worth the time. Our book club was amazed of the reflections of life from this author.

"After an arranged marriage in her native India, Priya moves with her husband to California, where they share a house with his parents. Playing the traditional daughter- in-law role, she’s expected to clean, cook, but the job, at a glossy Hollywood gossip magazine, isn’t at all what they had in mind for a traditional Indian wife. Can this fragile new love survive the pull between tradition and ambition?"
I think this book is definitely about new beginnings and new possibilities, don't you?
