I am looking for a book. I have read an excerpt of it in other books I have read. I would now like to read it.

Its about a female who was a slave to a vampire (blood slave?). This vampire died (not sure if she was the one who killed him or watched his killing).

She is being chased through a space station jumping over tables and such, trying to get away from this guy who is some sort of assassin, potentially a vampire himself. It may be that he was the one who killed the Vampire and she was a witness to the deed.

In the end the two fall in love with one another as he obviously catches her.

I thought I saved it in my lists here on Goodreads or on Amazon, but cannot find it anymore.

Does anyone know the title or authors name of this story/book?

Starapple, do you recall if the book/story was erotic? Also, was it a shortie or full-length?

Your post is timely b/c I just did a re-read of an old anth which included Angela Knight's All Wrapped Up: Blood Service. The h is actually a 'bloodthrall' (her vamp had been killed) whilst the H is a cyber-engineered vamp who is a bounty hunter/assassin. Unbeknownst to her, he's after her for her, not the bounty. The short starts just when he sights her waiting to board a ship. Definitely a TLC ending. :)

This also reminds me of another similar AK short--Blood and Steel. IMO, not as good as 'Blood Service' but IIRC, it too starts w/ him chasing after her thru a docking station/warehouse type of place. (But can't remember *why* he was after her.)

I'll have to think more if you're trying to find a full-length novel.

Other then the outer space theme ... sounds a lot like

Oh, good! TBT, I've always wished that AK would re-visit this one & expand on the storyline. Way too short, given the potential. :)
