I was reading last night and wondered suddenly what is your usual reading position? Seating or lying in bed? Or any other positions?

I usually read before I sleep so I lay in my bed. But sometimes I'm in the dining room and sitting.

I usually read on the couch with my knee up against my chest. But unfortunatly I might have to give up such a comfertable position cause my Ciropractor...I might have to give up reading in bed to cause both of thoughs can give scolyosous(sp).

Scoliosis? yeah, I feel my back hurting for the past few days... maybe I will give that up and just sit with a pillow in my back to straighten it up...

...Ya...it sucks. he said if I;m gonne devoure a book, to sit in chair and sit up strait. :(

who's he? it's difficult but it's much better to follow than have those nasty illnesses for not sitting upright, right? :)

cool! I love doing that!!! It's gonna suck giving that up. :(

slouching a lot could cause you to look like a hunchback later in life...

yeah... i so miss the Philippnes! I want to go home... if not for the economy crisis and the disturbed climate and atmosphere... I woul've gone home with my mom and siblings.

It depends on where I'm at and if anyone's around me. If I'm in my room I'll lay in my bed and read, I can read for a couple hours before I start dozing off, so I usually start at around, 8:30pm and go untill around 10:00pm.

i cannot sit while i read..i lie down on the hardwood floor or on my bed but occasionally sitting on the edge of furniture and swinging my legs off of it. it doesnt really matter i just have to be reading.

also in the earlier convo with athena SiNgUrL and carly- at the time u guys were talking, it was from 6 to 7 in the morning. i live in sunny california in the good old US. =)

My usual reading position is sitting in a firm chair at a table. A comfortable chair makes me fall asleep.
(I've also tried reading while walking slowly).

That makes me dizzy. Reading in motion. :b

LOLZ, I used to read while I was walking from class to class in the hallways, but I stopped doing it when I walked into the wrong classroom.

lol Christa....i ran into a couple ppl when i tried reading while walkin to school but after i'm almost tripped sum gurl into the street i gave up 2. lol.

i can read while going down the stairs lol

If you can dance or do martial arts without a book I guess you can walk with a book. Walk the same route over and over again. Walking speed is slow and steady. Try it in the kitchen.
