Take a look at how everyone's doing and join yourself here:

What will you be reading for this challenge? And how many do you plan to tackle?

I'll be ploughing through as many NetGalley's as I can, I keep going on request binges. I've been approved for 138 since joining in April and only finished 78.

The auto-approvals from Penguin and Harlequin don't help my ratio, and neither to the read now titles, but I really want to get back up to 80%+ like I was in November.

My target is 15, so wish me luck!

For the New Year's Resolution challenge, I'm trying to work my way through my Net Galley approved books list. I'm currently reading two books from my list which are:

Endless by Amanda Gray - I'm really loving this one at the moment, I'm already around 75% through it and it's amazing so far.

Selling Scarlett (Love Inc., #1) by Ella James - This one is ok at the moment, but I'm having a hard time getting into it and not enjoying it as much as the other book I'm reading.

I'm really new to the whole reviewing and reading world. I just joined netgalley a month ago and I'm wondering if they are any tips to help get approved for books. Also is there a good format or method you use to write reviews. Thanks in advance and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, a great place to start is with the Read Now books. If you read and review them, you'll boost your statistics on the site. Also, make sure you post your reviews to multiple sites, like a blog, goodreads and Amazon, publishers and authors like more exposure and it's likely you'll get auto approved. And don't be afraid to contact authors and publishers on Twitter and the like, a cheeky mention of a request can get you approved, but it works better with smaller publishers and indie authors.

I've read two books for this challenge so far, and my goal is set at five.

1. Dirty Tricks by Xandra James

'His hands gripped the door frame and his large physique filled the doorway. He was livid. Two splotches of red sat high on his cheeks and his t-shirt clung to his chest. Cat's eyes lingered a moment too long on that chest before she remembered her manners and made herself look up into his face.'

2. Endless by Amanda Gray

'Was it really just her visions that set her apart? Made her feel different? Wasn't it true, if she was honest with herself, that it was more than that? That she'd always felt out of place? Not quite present in her own skin?'

3. Selling Scarlett (Love Inc., #1) by Ella James

'As she puts the earrings on me, I feel a sense of total peace. And okay, it evaporates as soon as they leave the room and a little speaker on the bed tells me I'd be live in two minutes. But before that moment, I feel valued and loved. Here in a brothel.'

4. Into the Storm by Melanie Moreland

'The beginning of the year had seen me alone and trapped in a prison of my own making with no key to be found. Then a snowstorm had brought me my salvation.'

5. Relentless (Shattered Hearts, #1) by Cassia Leo

'These jagged lies I've told myself for the past year have rested comfortably beneath the delicate skin of truth. I can't allow them to pierce through to the surface. I can't allow myself to become a bloody mess again.'
