The Next Best Book Club discussion

Hey everyone! My name is Laura and I'm new here. I'm looking for online book clubs to try out new books, stretch out of my comfort zone maybe as far as books go. I will read just about anything but there are some I just don't find interesting.
What else...I'm an avid reader though maybe not as much as some here. I also an an animals person, I have pets and I love them. I am a knitter. I find it very relaxing. I'm a huge movie buff. I can watch just about anything. I enjoy comparing books and movies too, and generally find the movie lacking. Anything else, just ask!

Not only do we vote in our own monthly group reads but I also host an Author/Reader discussion where we giveaway upwards to 10 copies of a book each month and then invite the author to join us for a one week discussion...
