Don Browne | 1 comments I've been reading and re-reading Your Ultimate Life by Dr. Mao Shing Ni and find each time I read through it brings some new inspiration. Dr. Mao, a doctor of Chinese medicine and acupuncture explains the "five-element" personality of traditional Chinese thought from the I Ching, or Book of Changes. We all have a primary characteristic of either wood, fire, earth, metal, or water and the book tells how to use our strengths to overcome the weaknesses to become better balanced in health, relationships, finances and careers.

Susan Joyce | 20 comments Over the years, I've read many inspiring books. The BEST are those that lead me to my divine within. "I looked in temples, churches, and mosques. But I found the Divine within my heart." Rumi

Anna | 2 comments Last month I read my first sci-fi. I never thought that I might like this genre. So Collective Mind inspired me to read more, to buy new books in this genre and discover other different genres to myself. I read novels only heretofore.

Paul Meek (establishmindfulness) | 1 comments Siddhartha

What a difficult question, The Alchemist was great but I have to go with Siddhartha. What most inspired me was his description of the Buddha, the old ferry man and finally Siddhartha as an old man in the end. They just gave of peace because of their practise, inspired me to carry on meditating!!!

Trish Lechman (trish_lechman) 'What to Say When you Talk To Yourself' by Shad Helmstetter, it changed my life and I'm so glad I read it as a teenager, otherwise I would be one hell of a grouch.

Gloria Vester | 1 comments The book that made the biggest impact on my life and put me on the path to self discovery and deeper understanding is Men Who Have Walked with God. I found it in the library in college and still have it today, more than 30 years later.

Thanks for sharing your books with us, Trish and Gloria. Amazing how a book or two can touch us so deeply.

Therese Crutcher-Marin | 2 comments When Bad Things Happen to Good People by Harold S. Kushner was given to my by a coworker when I worked in hospice. I've given it to others because it had such an impact on me.

Ana Vera (anavera_coach) | 1 comments In my seeker journey I have read lots of books that added some wisdom to myself the latest ones is a book from an akashic reader, Gerardo Amaro. All the book was writen with the records open and has opened my eyes in ways I can't imagine. He doesn't publish because he says this information is for the greatest good of humanity, so it is free for download in pdf. He has just translated one in English, part one. The name of the book is "The Smallest Book on Earth with the Greatest Truths of Earth". The free book is here: http://www.gerardoamaro.com/2016/pdf/...

Praseetha | 2 comments Currently I am reading the book "Discourses on Kenopanisad". Highly recommended one for people who are interested towards philosophy. many of the thoughts in the book needs further contemplation to be able to assimilate even a part it . There are repetitions of examples however that I believe is the make a strong impression in the readers mind .
Very good book .

Funny how books tend to find us and not the other way around!
