Julied I had a goal of 50 for 2013. I made it to 47. Let's see if I can do all 50 this year!

Julied 1. The Smartest Kids in the World: And How They Got That Way Good food for thought both as a parent and an educator.

Julied 2. The Deeds of the Disturber Audible, narrated by Barbara Rosenblat. 13 hours 52 minutes

I love the Ameila Peabody character. Her witty comments make me laugh out loud when I listen. Rosenblat does a fabulous job of making the stories and characters come alive. I do find the stories a bit too predictable, so I try to space them out.

Julied 4. The Enchantress

This book completed the Nicholas Flamel series in YA fantasy. It tied the series up, though I found the last 100 pages or so a bit contrived. Good series, I could definitely recommend to my students.

Julied 5. Hatchet

Read this book to my class of middle school boys. They all loved it. So did I!

Julied 6. Those Who Save Us Audible 15 hours 56 minutes

Good book, excellent narration! The story line was new for me...WWII Germany told from the standpoint of a German. Great thoughts and dialogue regarding this book. Would be a good book group book.
