The Reading Challenges are now up here at Goodreads! Click your "Home" button and they will be along the right side so you can set your goal officially as well as here! :)

A few people said or noticed that everything they read in 2013 wasn't counted by Goodreads. I think the reason is that if you don't put a date on when the book was finished, it won't count it. So to make sure all your 2014 books are counted on a main Goodreads challenge, just be sure to date when you finish!

Colleen | 3 comments Question: Some of the books I've read aren't being counted for the challenge. Is there a page limit or type of book not counted for challenge?

If you're talking about the challenge here, you input them yourself. If you're talking about on the main Goodreads site, if you don't mark a "finished on" date on the book, Goodreads doesn't count it as finished for their main challenge. If you go back into the books it hasn't counted, try adding a finished on date and that should pop them. At least that's what I've heard.

That is correct and for future books if you mark it currently reading and then read it will count them automatically for future books ... If you are putting it on your book shelf after you have read it you can mark it as currently reading and then mark as read right after and it will still count. :) hope that helps
