Up to four already...back to work after Xmas holidays tomorrow so will probably slow down a bit now
I've read two by Ben Monopoli which were great....Cranberry Hush had me in total tears. Also read a William S Burroughs which I didn't enjoy as much....trying to read some modern classics but think it was a bit too out there for me.
'Queer' by William S Burroughs, 'Call me by your name' by Andre Achman (another tear jerker, so beautiful & set on the Italian Riveria) and the other Ben Monopoli was called 'homo action love story: a tall tale.' It has to be one of the strangest titles I've ever seen but was a really funny tale set in future & packed full of adventure. I've read all of Monopoli's books over the xmas break & they were all fabulous & very different. Just started 'An abundance of Katherines' by John Green which is very funny and quite light hearted which is what I need after two weepies.
I'd like to read a bit more widely outside my go-to genres too so might have a go at the monopoloy challenge to make myself read something a little different.
