JG (Introverted Reader) | 487 comments I haven't played with the ebook capabilities we have at all. But I did notice one book I have shelved has a preview available on Google Books. How do I add that link to the book? I know I've seen it on other books.

This Is Not The Michael You're Looking For | 949 comments I don't think you can add that; I think they're only auto-generated.

Adna (violet-feelings) | 32 comments I think authors should be able to have that option of adding book previews.

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments If the author has a website where they put up book previews, they can either put the whole website in their author bio or put a link to the book's page on their website in the book URL field.

This Is Not The Michael You're Looking For | 949 comments Technically, an author could upload an ebook preview to any book. The issue, last time I checked, is there was no way to distinguish between ebooks which were previews and ebooks which were the whole book; there was discussion about adding this but I haven't looked to see if it's been done.

There are, in fact, some ebook previews already on GoodReads.
