Erika | 9482 comments The theme this month is winter. Read a book that that takes place at some point during the winter or has snow on it's cover. Then after you have read it please come back and let us know you've finished. Share your rating with us and let us know what you thought of the book.

J.E. Byrne My school book club is reading Dead Land as a "winter" theme. It has snow...nuclear fallout snow! To quote the protagonist, "We bundled her in preparation for the newly permanent winter weather. I thought of Lewis’ Narnia under the rule of the white witch, 'Always winter and never Christmas.' Yes, that’s what life felt like now. And I sensed that the witch was on our trail."

I finished Always You by Missy Johnson . It start at really good but about midway it started to lose me. I gave it 2.5 stars.

Erika, I was going to read Snowed In by Rachel Hawthorne , but then changed to Always You. I'm curious to hear what you think of it!

J.E. Byrne Our book club met last Wednesday to discuss Dead Land! We had a blast eating post-apocalyptic foods (see attached Facebook picture link!) We used discussion questions posted on www.authorjebyrne.com. The book club loved, loved, loved the book (five stars on Amazon.com)!!

Erika | 9482 comments I finished Snowed In by Rachel Hawthorne . I have it *** it was sweet and predictable. So an easy read, I finished pretty quick.
